Hello my name if John Denner and I would like to personally welcome you to my Official Website “All Things Denner”
The goal in setting up this site was to create an online resource for folks like myself who are interested in exploring the Amazing People, and Amazing Places throughout history that share the name Denner. Ever since I was a young boy growing up in Hartford Connecticut I felt the desire to trace the origins of my last name. Back in the 1970’s this was an impossible task, after all there was no internet and the local Library was not much help!
Today in 2019 There are so many paths to finding the Denner family story. Thanks to Genealogy websites like Ancestry.com that provide precise geographic detail and clear-cut historical insights, we are all able to connect to the places in the world where our story started—from unique regions to living relatives. My hope is to use these resources and create a site worthy of the name Denner!

Johann Christoph Denner was a famous woodwind instrument maker of the Baroque era, to whom the invention of the clarinet is attributed.
Denner was born in Leipzig, Germany to a family of horn-tuners. With his father, Heinrich Denner, a maker of game whistles and hunting horns, he moved to Nuremberg in 1666. Two of his sons, Jacob and Johann David, also became instrument builders. At least sixty-eight instruments attributed to J. C. Denner have survived to the present day, although the surviving instruments with the Denner family name are believed to have come from his sons’ workshops.

Balthasar Denner is one of the most Notable People to share the Surname Denner and was highly regarded as one of the greatest portraitist of his time. The artist painted mostly half-length and head and shoulders portraits of people along with a few group portraits of families in interiors. After traveling the state for years searching for the perfect piece of dirt to grow grapes that would produce highly-acclaimed wines, Ron Denner finally found exactly what he was looking for in the far western reaches of Paso Robles in 1997. He began planting the first few acres in 1999, which has now grown to a total of 130-acres, consisting of 20 different grape varieties producing the Award Winning Wines Denner Vineyards has become famous for.
John and Kate Music
John Denner (Piano) and Kate Denner (Vocals) met almost a decade ago and were married on August 21, 2011. Almost immediately, they set out in full-time missionary work. The Denner’s are both professional musicians and chose to use their music as a tool to reach people for Jesus Christ.
